My words aren't for hire now. My husband started a business that stole me away. We sell books now: #amazonfba & warehouse sales. @swell.swap.books
Campers in their natural habitat.
Summer Camp. The kids are swimming and I'm taking it easy. Lying down on a bench under the Oak trees. I've got no little babies to watch these days. 😉 I'm taking this space to be a little philosophical and pray and contemplate God's Word and consider what really matters (or will matter) after the years pass. I'm thinking about past years, last year, who I am, and who I used to be. And I'm asking myself who do I want to ask God to help me to become. I guess, more importantly, I'm asking Good to give me wisdom to choose how to spend my time wisely so I do things with my kids that are timeless. Now the bell has rung, moving on to the next rotation. 🌿❤️👍
Cinnamon rolls for the book sale.
What can I say? The beauty God created in plants is endless in it's variety.
Sometimes I'm a little like a kid. I confess, picture books are summer of my favorite books when they're beautiful, amusing, or poignant. This one was a bit of all three. :)
Don't worry, we'll be putting the books out on tables! In fact, I know some men who are working on that today! I'm getting excited! Book Warehouse Monthy Liquidation Sale! I've seen it countless times. People will do things for people they love, which they wouldn't otherwise do. And sometimes it also results in their own good. Right now I'm thinking of two moms who made life changes when they found out they were pregnant. Those life changes altered their lives toward better things, but they made the changes in response to love for their baby. The business I'm doing right now with my husband I'm doing to support him and because I love my kids and want to provide for them. However, I see so much growth (and even fun) which has resulted from going this journey with my family and for my family. I'm really not a very courageous person - I don't like pain or discomfort. But out of the love I have for my family (and my God) come depths of courage to do the hard things and step out. This image here, is of a dad who ran races, pushing his son in a wheel chair, because his son asked him too. They went on to run countless races together. I'm just guessing
Found this in one of my Google Photo Albums. Priceless.

I had time to kill in Springfield last night (and no money to spend on groceries or fun 🙄) so I when to Phelps Park and enjoyed the peace before the coming storm. ❤️ Then I enjoyed the storm a bit as well, as the sun slipped over the edge of the street. My favorite part of it the garden there were three messier bits. It was pretty relaxing just to walk around and take pictures to my heart's content. I might have to do some of that every Saturday evening. @stefanbylin @lucyslifeinphotos Do you find photography photography therapeutic as well? Or does it stress you a little, trying to get there right shot? #springfieldmo #phelpspark #therapy #beauty #photography #garden
Hidden Angel. @rendelladaisy Tell Jewl this is her writing prompt. I want to hear a good one. Tears should be there. 😉
Dismayed artist. Trying to cheer her up. I admire her work and respect her growth so much. She's hard-working, caring, conscientious, a little sassy, and a lot of fun. And she's a perfectionist. Know anyone like that? @rendelladaisy #artist not #starvingartist #hobbit #chagrined #daughter #creative #perfectionist She wants to be an #animator and, eventually, own her own studio. I bet she will.
I haven't read this book, but I love the artwork on it. My grandpa Mehrens was an artist and was my mom, as well as several of my daughters, cousin's, nephews and nieces. I love beautiful paintings. Beauty makes my heart awaken to joy, sorrow, all kinds of emotions. I can get used to just stuffing it and doing what needs to be done. Beauty pulls me out for a rest, invites me remember the meaning and purpose in living. #art #painting #illustrationartists #bookcovers #beautyinlife #artistspotlight #artist #meaning #joy #sorrow #beauty #respect

Sometimes I keep books for myself.
